Fan-favourite tactical turn-based strategy series Advance Wars is finally returning on Switch with Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. It was originally planned to launch last year on 8th April 2022, but delays have pushed it back to 21st April 2023 – a full year later.
Originally made by Intelligent Systems – the same Nintendo-exclusive team behind the Fire Emblem series – this remake of the first two entries on the Game Boy Advance is being handled by WayForward, developer of the Shantae series and specialists when it comes to revisiting older properties.

It would appear that Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp isn’t being treated to any special edition or limited edition releases at retail, so picking up a standard physical copy of the game is as good as it gets for collectors and fans of physical media.
